June 2020 Prayer List

Updated Prayer list
June /2020

1. Pray for our political leaders. Pray there would be rest and peace across Canada and in the U.S. We watch as people gather to protest acts of injustice, riot and loot (arguably with little regard for isolation practices, health and safety of others) and yet the church is not allowed to gather for worship or prayer.
2. Pray for those who have been affected by COVID-19 whether it is a matter of physical illness, job loss, mental health or what have you.
3. Remember to pray for Peter, Joan and family. Joan is at home with Peter where he is able to care for her with the help of his family. Everyone is doing well, and we are thankful for that.
4. Continue to pray for Helen Chychul as she struggles with her health and isolation during this COVID time.
5. Remember Judd and Shirley Hoover. Shirley is in long term care at the Anson place in Hagersville.
6. Pray for Kelli’s friend, Candyce as she continues to fight against cancer. Pray for her family as they walk this road together.
7. Continue to pray for Leo as he is also in long term care. Pray for Sharon and Shawn as they are unable to visit with Leo during this time.
8. Pray for our missionaries and contacts as follows:
Aaron and Melissa Murray as they begin the journey of Church planting combined with French-language study/BF; Alan G./BF; Bob F./BF Karwur/BF; Doug Harkness/Ethnos; Gonske/OM; Carl C./GC.FND; Jorge Sedaca/CPM; Merkh/WOL; Robison/ABWE; Schmidt/ABWE; Cooper/ABWE; Guanilo/ABWE; Shantz/TWR; Avery/YFC; Robinson/PTC; Woods/WOL; Donna Kovacs; The Hive; Church-Out-Serving.
9. Pray for our shut-ins as follows: Donna Walker (Scott Ave.); Rosalind (Maple-Lodge); Marion Wilson (Cedar-Crossing); Warren Kuehl; *** New quarantine impacts at Norview & Cedar-Crossing. ***
10. Donna Walker is now in hospital at St Joes Hamilton for dialysis. They hope to be able to send her home soon. However, before that happens, she needs to have a procedure done that will enable her to receive dialysis at home.
11. Pray for Peter and Jackie’s son Chris who needs salvation and for reconciliation of relationship with the family.
12. Continue to pray for Arlene and her son Barry.
13. Pray for Marlene as she cares for her husband Ray.
14. Pray for Christine Best (Jarvis bakeshop), and Fern Sherk – as both women have breast cancer and attend Precepts.
15. Pray for Dave and Lesley Milne and family. Lesley is in physiotherapy for her knee after having a manipulation done.
16. Pray for Lloyd and Ruth Hurley as they are now in long term care.
17. Pray for Eric Schmidt who continues to struggle with his arthritis but is also dealing with vertigo.
18. Pray for Sue Kendry’s friend Shannon who has undergone a mastectomy for breast cancer recently.
19. Pray for Peter’s friend Ivan who is hurting from a painful break in his relationship with his son. Ivan wrote his son an apology, but it was rejected.
20. Pray for Donna Kovac’s family and husband Joe for salvation and a close relationship with Jesus. Pray also for her son Wesley for God’s direction in his life. Wesley has applied to “Word-Of-Life” in Owen-Sound for future studies. Donna also requested prayer for Dustin, the 16-yr-old son of her friend “Mylene” – who has been experiencing severe mental problems and is in acute-care.
21. Pray for Ron Erauw’s father who remains in hospital.
22. Remember Pastor Mike’s nephew Alex as he is going through a painful divorce right now.
23. Pray for Irene’s friend Vivian who is having open heart surgery today. Pray all goes well and that she is not fearful but confident in the Lord as she prepares.
24. Pray for Bob Hurley as he has been dealing with kidney stones this week.
